Chris Mandel is senior vice president, Strategic Solutions, for Sedgwick and director of the Sedgwick Institute, the world’s largest and leading claims and productivity management firm. He has held leadership positions for over 30 years in enterprise risk management, risk management, insurance, consulting and brokerage for large global corporations, including USAA Group, PepsiCo, Verizon, American National Red Cross, Liberty Mutual and Marsh. Mandel has been a long-term senior leader in the Risk Management Society (RIMS), having being elected as president and later named Risk Manager of the Year and to Risk Who’s Who. A regular author, speaker and adviser on risk and risk-related issues, he has also received the Goodell Award, RIMS’s highest honor for lifetime achievement.
