Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) Program The AAI designation program gives you a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive insurance business. It will help you increase your commissions, improve your insurance knowledge, avoid E&O claims, and earn continuing education (CE) credits for your license renewal, all at the same time. AAI is more cost-effective and more flexible than other comparable programs. Further, no continuing education credits are required to maintain your designation. Association for Risk Management and Insurance Company (AMRAE) Formation is a subsidiary of AMRAE, the professional association of baseline risk trades. For 20 years, AMRAE has assisted private and public organizations in achieving their strategic and operational objectives, enabling them to improve their performance and manage their risks. The AMRAE Formation trains executives and managers on topics in risk management and financial risk transfer, and through its partnership with The Institutes, offers an international diploma for the Associate in Risk Management (ARM™) program.
Collegiate Studies for CPCU The Institutes have partnered with select colleges and universities to help strengthen our industry by preparing students for careers in the emerging property-casualty insurance field. The Collegiate Studies for CPCU program provides qualifying Risk Management and Insurance students an opportunity to waive up to two courses in the CPCU program. Students who earn two CPCU course waivers and complete Ethics and the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct will also earn The Institutes' Collegiate Studies for CPCU Certificate.
CPCU Society The CPCU Society is a membership organization of nearly 28,000 credentialed insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education. The Society's members hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU©) professional designation, which requires passing eight rigorous undergraduate- and graduate-level examinations, meeting experience requirements, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics. The CPCU designation is conferred by the American Institute for CPCU.
Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) In 1999, the IIABA—the largest national association of its kind—and IIABA state associations partnered with the Institutes to revise the IIABA's Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation program and to develop its national examinations. The Institutes develop both the study materials and examinations for three of the four program modules. IIABA state association staff proctor the exams; the Institutes grade them. IIABA has conferred more than 13,000 ACSR designations on agency customer service representatives and other agency personnel over the past 11 years, making it one of the largest CSR training program in the country. Insurance Educational Association IEA provides multi-media training opportunities for 21st century insurance professionals. With more than 300 courses offered in workers' compensation, disability management, risk management and property casualty IEA provides the essential skills you need for career success. Courses are offered through IEA's nationally available tele course online instructor-led format as well as traditional classroom. With a rich 135 year history in the fields of education and training, IEA is focused on bringing the industry’s top instructors to students nationally. IEA reaches over 5000 students annually across all 50 states with over 200 of the industry’s top instructors offering classes ranging from introductory training to advanced technical courses.
International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) The IAIP serves its members by providing professional education, an environment in which to build business alliances and the opportunity to make connections with people of differing career paths and levels of experience within the insurance industry. The Institutes have partnered with the IAIP in support of promoting and developing professional education by making its educational materials available to individual members of the IAIP at a discount. Members will be required to provide a unique promotional code when placing an order to receive the discount. International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) In 2004, ICCIE was founded to assist in building the capacity of the captive insurance industry through comprehensive captive insurance education. The Institutes partnered with ICCIE in 2004 to assist with the development of their Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation program. ICCIE’s program includes courses that are tailored to meet the specific educational needs of captive insurance professionals. ICCIE confers the ACI designation. International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is the largest educational association serving the employee benefits and compensation industry. LOMA Founded in 1924, LOMA is an international association through which more than 1,200 insurance and financial services companies from more than 80 countries engage in research and educational activities to improve company operations. The Institutes partnered with LOMA in 2003 to offer a property-casualty track in LOMA’s Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation program. The ACS program combines technical insurance courses from the Institutes with comprehensive customer service education from LOMA’s ACS 100 course. LOMA confers the ACS designation. The ACS curriculum is available in English, French, Spanish and Chinese. Approximately 250 students have earned the ACS designation under the P&C track since the fall of 2003.
