Accredited Financial Examiner (AFE)

Associate Compliance Professional (ACP) and Certified Compliance Professional (CCP)
The Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) specifies completion of IR 201, CPCU 510, and CPCU 520 as part of course requirements to earn its ACP designation. Candidates progressing toward the CCP designation must also complete either CPCU 540 or AIAF 111 as part of the course requirements. Bermuda Insurance Diploma
The Bermuda Insurance Institute recognizes INS 21 and 23 toward the completion of the Bermuda Insurance diploma U.S. route (versus the U.K. route). For further information, call 1-441-292-9829 or vist their Web site at bermuda-insurance.org.
Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM) and
Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM)
The Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA) requires AIDM candidates to complete its own program of study. It also requires CIDM candidates, those in the second tier of IDMAís professional program, to complete course work from selected insurance designation-granting organizations, including AICPCU/IIA. CIDM candidates must complete CPCU 520, CPCU 540, and any two of CPCU 555, CPCU 551, or CPCU 552 (CPCU information). INS 21, INS 22, and INS 23 (INS information) can be used to waive the requirements for any two of the following: CPCU 555, CPCU 551, or CPCU 552. Accredited Insurance Examiner (AIE) and Certified Insurance Examiner (CIE)
The Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES) requires AIE property and casualty-track candidates to complete eight courses taken from a select group of AICPCU/IIA courses. These courses are: INS 22, INS 23, CPCU 510, CPCU 552, CPCU 520, CPCU 530, CPCU 560, CPCU 7, CPCU 9, IR 201, AIAF 111, and AIC 34, AIC 35, or AIC 36 (only one AIC course will be counted as part of the eight). CIE life and health-track candidates must meet the AIE requirements for their track and complete any four of the following courses: INS 21, CPCU 520, CPCU 530, IR 201, and AIC 34, AIC 35, or AIC 36 (only one AIC course will be counted as part of the four). Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)

Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU)
The Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS) has developed its own five-part program on professional liability. It allows RPLU candidates to waive Part I if they have completed coursework from several specified professional designation programs, including those of the Institutes. RPLU candidates can waive Part I with completion of AU 66, CPCU 552, CPCU 530, ARM, and AIC. Additional information can be obtained from www.plusweb.org or by calling (800) 845-0778.
