After completing this course, you'll be able to consider how the policy provisions define the terms and scope of the agreement between the insurer and the insured.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

    • Given a case involving a property or liability insurance policy, analyze each of the following to determine whether coverage exists:
      • Insured parties, including insured parties identified by name
      • Insured parties identified by relationship
      • Additional insured parties
      • Multiple insured parties
      • Parties not insured
    • Insurable interest
    • Premiums
    • Policy period and coverage territory provisions
    • Insured events and cause of loss
