Why you need this course:
After completing this course, you'll have a solid understanding of Fair Access to Insurance Requirements (FAIR plans), beachfront and windstorm plans, flood, and dwelling and mobile home coverages.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Contrast the DP-3 policy with the HO-3 policy in regards to each of the following:
    • Types of property covered
    • Other coverages
    • Perils insured against exclusions and conditions
    • Coverage for liability and theft losses
  • Given a case describing a dwelling claim, determine whether the DP-3 policy would cover the claim, and if so, the amount the insurer would pay for the claim.
  • Explain how the coverages under an HO-3 policy are modified by the Mobilehome Endorsement (MH 04 01) and other ISO endorsements unique to mobilehome coverage.
  • Describe the operation of the National Flood Insurance Program and the coverage it provides.
  • Describe the operation of FAIR plans and beachfront and windstorm plans and the coverage they provide.
